I'm a writer, musician, and generally creative dude. I write mostly about food, restaurants, and the service industry, and I've developed an unintentional specialty for super long (and hopefully interesting) interviews with chefs and other food folks. I've toured the country and overseas as a working musician for over a decade. I've spent years working in the realms of nonprofit real estate development – and more recently, have been happily selling my soul to the capitalist gods as a freelance creative (I love verbs that have transitioned into nouns!) for a Minneapolis-based agency. Currently, I'm working on a super-secret book project; learning some sweet new card tricks; using semicolons egregiously; and trying to find a graceful way to end this bio. Slow clap.
